Although the entire senior management of the publications department
were dismissed as was Tom Brownscombe, we are left wondering where the bulk of the other 14 staff cuts fell? Were they relatively evenly distributed in all departments or were they concentrated in one or two departments, while other departments considered critical were spared? I'm guessing that the part timers were probably let go, but am wondering if Stan can fill us in on how many were let go from publications, how many from accounting and how many from the B&E operation? Given the huge accounting flubups, I'm wondering if accounting bore the brunt of Booz's wrath? Also what happened to Barb Vandermark and Judy and Joan? I'm betting Prince is still there as they need someone to keep working on upgrading technology. If Mike Nolan has already quit and returned home, this will be another serious blow to USCF's technology upgrade. Best Regards, Bruce |
