I'm only speculating here...but I'm wondering if the USCF should fail,
whether or not it would prevent the US from fielding its women's team in the Olympiad in 2004. Is there any word on this? Because I'm theorizing for the US to be "represented" in the Olympiad in 2004, there has to be an official sponsor for the team, right? So, if the USCF should collapse before the Olympiad next year, would the US Women's team theoretically be barred from playing? |

All FIDE cares about is whether or not USCF, bankrupt or not, has paid its FIDE dues. Bill Goichberg Bill Goichberg |

The one thing which I can assure you will go on is the USA having a
representative in FIDE. So I wouldn't worry about that. John Fernandez |
