Here are the people who ran the New York State Chess Association in 1940, a
year after the founding of the USCF: President: C. Harold King, 60 Lebanon St., Hamilton Honorary President: D. Francis Searle, 108 E. Bloomfield, Rome Vice Presidents: Lynn H. Bryant (Genesee Cup Director), 105 Chesnut St., Binghamton Paul N. Giers (Promotion of New Clubs), 414 Syracuse Building, Syracuse Secretary-Treasurer: George H. Wilson Jr., 10 N. Loder St., Union Editor of NYSCA Bulletin: Robert F. Brand, Box 211, Cazenovia C. Harold King served on the Board of Directors of the USCF at the time that George Sturgis of Boston was its president.
