Default Is the Chess Trust Accepting Donations for Our Move or New Building?

"Tom Klem" writes:

Is all this talk about a move to Crossville, Tennessee (no offence to the
residents of Crossville), really serious?

No sale on the building. No move. Right?

You may recall that the sequence of events was that the USCF was approached
by the man who owns the surrounding properties (including the offices we
rent for Chess Life) to buy our building as part of a development project.

It is unlikely (but not entirely impossible) that the USCF would move
without selling the existing building, though the timing of events
probably has greater flexibility as a result of the package that
Crossville put together.
