Rules Question: pairing twice? (was: Rules Question)

-I would keep a 5-round Swiss with 5 players as a Swiss and let -players face each other twice if necessary, which is perfectly -legal under the circumstances. The general concept behind this has a name. It's called the Italian Pairing System. See Martin E. Morrison's TOURNAMENT DIREC- TION GUIDE AND MANUAL, July 1971, page 8.7. (Which referred to my publishing of January 25, 1971.)
