If there is such a thing as an infinitely powerful supreme being, why would
it demand to be worshipped? Why would it care if it was worshipped or not? It
would already be at its highest level.. infinitely powerful. That means its
power couldn't be diminished under any circumstance,.. not even by
self-diminishment.
Seems to me the only "being" that would demand to be worshipped would be a
being well short of "infinitely powerful."
Just wondering about that....

Define worship.

Considering what mankind has accomplished in the last six thousand years;
paradise lost and almost totally destroyed, hundreds of millions (maybe an
even larger number) dead of warfare, pestilence, government pograms and
every other scheme dreamed up by man to dominate man, is a simple test of
loyalty really out of order?

Or, is it man --- that's out of order?

Dear Mr. Klem,

Heil Dubya!

A quarter of a billion Africans murdered, essentially by Europeans -- often
called, "Americans" -- during the African Slave Trade HOLOCAUST! (According to
Dr. Dubois.) REPARATIONS, WTO and World Bank, "United Nations", anyone? I
wonder why you don't mention THAT.

Considering what mankind has accomplished in the last six thousand years;
paradise lost and almost totally destroyed, hundreds of millions (maybe an
even larger number) dead of warfare, pestilence, government pograms and
every other scheme dreamed up by man to dominate man, is a simple test of

(Much snipped.)

Heute Uhmuhrikkka, Afghanistan und Irak. Morgen die ganze Welt!

Uhmuhrikkka, Uhmuhrikkka uber Alles!

(Was 11 September 2001 Kristalnacht or the date of the Reichstag fire?)

Fraternally,

REPARATIONS

Simple fact of life: you cannot make "reparations" to a dead man. By the
same token, you cannot punish the perpetrators of this crime, as they are all
dead, as well.

OTOH, it is well to remember such crimes, as those who refuse to learn from
history, are destined to fall into the same opening traps, again and again.

Interesting point. Perhaps I've let vanity get the better of me.

Ahhh, so you are there after all. And all this time I've had my doubts.
Say Hi to mom and pop. When I get there please don't put me in a room
directly below an Islamic terrorist with his 42 virgins, or next to a rock
guitarist.

God,

Hi! I didn't think you existed.

Sorry. But you didn't give me very much to work with. I'm a skeptic,
I think like a scientist. That's the way you made me, but you
probably knew that already, huh?

So, chess is a draw, right? Do you think Fischer-Random chess is the
way to go?

Don't worry about the Islamic virgins, they're all at least 90 years old
anyways. Ever wonder where Satan got his twisted sense of humor? As for the
rock guitarists, they all get sent to Odd, WV.

God,

Hi! I didn't think you existed.

I live in the Cayman's now; offshore banking is my greatest creation.

Sorry. But you didn't give me very much to work with. I'm a skeptic,
I think like a scientist. That's the way you made me, but you
probably knew that already, huh?

Watch what you say. Look what I did to Stephen Hawking.

So, chess is a draw, right? Do you think Fischer-Random chess is the
way to go?

No-limit hold 'em poker is the way to go-just ask Howard Lederer.

Yahweh
