Default Now that Bill's in Charge, Time to Raise Dues Again?

As of yet there has been no independent confirmation of the bombshell
that Bill Goichberg has been named to replace Grant Perks as acting ED
of the USCF. There has also been no denial, and Tim Hanke either
intentionally or inadvertantly confirmed that Perks has indeed been
"fired".

Is one to assume that the ED must be "fired" by a Board vote? When
did a Board meeting take place? Was it a conference call? Was it
announced, or was it held in secret? Any justification for dismissing
Grant who by many people's admission was doing a reasonably decent job
considering the pile of waste he was asked to clean up?

Why is Bill put in charge? Just because he lives nearby? What does
Bill know about running the day to day operations of a 4.5M not for
profit? Everyone should check their checking account balances to make
sure they've got extra money, as we all know that Bill Goichberg has
NEVER voted against a dues increase on anyone.

If revenues aren't matching up to old Bill's expectations his answer
is always the same, let's raise dues to get more revenues. Isn't it
amazing that this same failed prototype for running USCF just gets
rewound and replayed?

Put another quarter in and try again.

Raise adult dues and I'm out of here as an organizer.

Don't think of this as a "bad" thing. Think of it as an opportunity to
grow CCA.

Bruce
