"CHRIS KINGMAN" wrote in message m... "bob vraton" wrote in message ... "Phil Innes" wrote in message ... I visited both sites listed but could not find any coverage of the event... Will it be covered? If so please give the URL.... Thanks! Karpov deserves it. The tournament dates are Dec 19-23. They are not really looking for big pre-game publicity because Lindsborg is a very small place and the event is totally booked up. Anatoly Evgenievich will not be 'moving' to Kansas, as far as I understand ![]() I could write more of the chess school, however it is proper to wait for official announcements which will be forthcoming from gospodin Mikhail Korenman, the director of the school. I think there may be a public live match broadcast, if so, I will post times, dates and URL here - although this broadcast may be a private one. Both Karpov and Kasparov give much of their time, money and support to fundraising events as well as directly working with disadvantaged people. Cordially, Phil Innes |

Hi Phil,
The 'struker' ok, the 'stoker' eh? The threebie hot stoking, trumper magnanimous friggling snorter p'hraps? - bit scared are you son?.. Me? ![]() Michael! one day we'll play chess and after that we'll both be scared of each other, though, I expect, for completely different reasons.
