This should send a message to every person online who thinks they can go around
trashing others without consequence. One of the people mentioned in the Polgar mess got into something similar with me not long ago and seemed to think it was just a joke. Anyone who wants to talk smack about someone else better have good authority to back it up. Way to go Susan! |

Ms. Polgar has every right to defend her good name, and it is gratifying to see her do so. I hope she proceeds with the lawsuit and wins big. Danny Purvis If Trollgar has any sense, they will not sue. The case is extremely weak. It's not libel to dislike a public figure, and say so. |

Evidently, the statements that Ms. Polgar considers clearly libelous are in emails that have not been aired in this group. But the jury will have all of this information in black and white. If libel has occurred, there will be no hiding the fact. One thing for sure, we do not need to speculate on whether Ms. Polgar "has any sense". If she proceeds with the lawsuit, that will be a good sign that her case is not weak after all. Danny Purvis |

StanB Clearly she has access to the material that is the substance of her complaint, but she prefers to reserve this material for a possible court date rather than exhibit it here. But if you would like to post some of it, I for one would be interested in looking. If I were you, however, I would simply apologize, an action that she indicated would end the matter. Whether or not you are in the wrong legally, you have certainly done some vigorous mudslinging, and an apology would not be out of order on that score alone. Danny Purvis |
