Default Poor Gordon Roy Parker...

Still on the outside, looking in.

He reminds us of Rick Moranis's character in "Ghostbusters".

Cowering outside the window of the posh restaurant,
desperately trying to get the attention of the patrons
on the inside, while the monster inside his head (and
his alone) is bearing down on him with slavering jaws,
with destruction in it's heart.

The patrons of the posh restaurant glance up and then
just as fast, return to their fine meals, their good
conversations barely pause, while they sit in warmth,
comfort, and companionship in their normal world, as
his personal monster consumes him, leaves him a babbling
idiot, and further marginalizes him, leaving him totally
oblivious to, and separate from. the rest of the world.

That's why he posts things like this:

He's banging on the window from the outside, desperately trying
to find a way to tell those on the inside, in the real world,
that there is something coming to get him. And not a single soul
cares.

The reason no one cares? Its because the things of which he
warns are only significant to him, in his pain-filled and
lonely little world. Outside the window. Forever separated
from fellowship, from acceptance, from respect, from admiration,
and most of all, from reality. He wanders through the dark
recesses of life, not knowing that there is light, uttering
warnings of dire, disastrous destruction, like a Cassandra.

Imagine a life without friends, without achievement, without
success, without companionship, and most of all, without hope.

Makes us feel really sorry for him, because it doesn't have to
be that way. And he knows it.
