Attendence is down; Appaerently adult dues are too low.

I wonder how this compares to the past four years?

According to the USCF's own figures:

2003 U.S. Open (Los Angeles): 453
2002 U.S. Open (Cherry Hill, NJ): 502
2001 U.S. Open (Framingham,Mass.): 480
2000 U.S. Open (Saint Paul, Minn.): 492

Yeah, but what were the advance entries like less than a week before
the start of those tournaments?

I suspect the Open will have 450 or so by the time the clocks start. I am
now curious as to how much the Open's cost us in travel, staff time,
promotion, and whatever.
