Unless he has unconverted, Sloan is a muslim. He converted to get one
of his wives, or so he says. The story gets more strange after that. --

Big scandal revealed by
samsloan
I've received confidential information that Don Schultz will form a
slate to go against Polgar and Bauer. He'll team up with Leroy Dubeck
and me. With my help, he'll win for sure. I'll be actively campaigning
for Don and my biggest supporter Leroy Dubeck. Without Leroy, I would
have never become a big shot board member. We must do everything we can
to stop the Polgar machine. She's not good for...

Bill Brock and me; The BIG story by
samsloan
I am considering writing a book entitled: Bill Brock and Me: The Whole
Story
In all these past 2 years, I have only told two or four people what
really happened between me and him. I have kept quiet about it this
past 2 years to protect him and his family.
Now that it is apparent that it will be a hard election campaign, I
guess I will have to tell the story anyway, so I might as well try...

Chess Politics Chess Heretics by
Chess One
While I haven't read all the recent responses to the nominal topic of more
USCF 'awards' by board members without any accounting, which was first
reported by Beatriz Marinello, then Sam Sloan was 'blamed' for, even by Bill
Goichberg whose own diversion was on Sloan's 'history' rather than his own
part in initiating the current 'history' - I haven't actually read any
interest declared by...

Scallops on sale, sweet and yummy by
RSHaas@aol.com
If you live in an area where there are Publix grocery stores, they have
huge scallops on sale for $8.99 a pound. Usually they cost $12 to $13
a pound. We bought two pounds and they were the sweetest most
succulent scallops ever. They tasted like the seafood of the olden days
before pollution of the sea and bays. I could not believe it. I'm
going to rush back and buy more for the freezer.
Old...

OMOV has failed! by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
The failure of OMOV in the United States of America Chess Federation
Let's face it, with Sam Sloan in office, and unable to do much but
reprimand Robert Tanner for cheating at his chess rating, then what we
have is less than 10% of the USCF electorate making some horrible
decisions. Democracy doesn't work when your voting threshold is only
around 5% of your membership. I would ask the reader to...

Happiness in Nolanland: Another Polgar Thread is Deleted. by
samsloan
I will give a few examples of the problem we have here. On February 22,
2006, Susan Polgar started a thread entitled "Polgar Letter to the
Board". In it, she attacked the board which had just APPROVED her
proposal made two days earlier. At that time, I was not yet a member of
the board, so her attack on the board had nothing to do with me. Here
is her first letter of attack:
This letter evoked...

State population estimates by
RSHaas@aol.com
USA Today published the Census Bureau's 2006 estimates for the
population of the states, something I look forward to seeing each year.
Since the end of WWII the traditional big growers have been
California, Texas, and Florida. Many people might be surprised to
learn that in recent years my old home state of Georgia has become the
fourth fastest growing state in absolute numbers. Georgia now...

Bulgaria's Topalov Faces Chess Ban for Linking Kramnik to KGB by
markgravitygood@gmail.com
Sports: 22 December 2006, Friday.
Bulgaria's chess king Vesselin Topalov may be disqualified by FIDE for
three years for violating the Code of Ethics by linking Vladimir
Kramnik to the KGB in an interview for Spanish newspaper ABC.
People from outside who were Russians and were far from the world of
chess helped Kramnik, Topalov said in the interview. These were either
amateurs or people from...

Udon Noodles by
RSHaas@aol.com
At Big Lots the other day I purchased two packs of Udon Noodle soup.
This was a Korean product, one I'd never eaten before. The noodles are
long, white, and thicker than any other Asian noodle I've see. They
look something like albino earthworms, very tricky to get out of the
cooking pot and onto your plate once they have cooked in water for a
few minutes. With the seasoning packets added in,...

Dear Executive Board Candidate;
As a candidate for the USCF Executive Board could you please address
the following questions?
1. What is your senior management experience and qualifications to be a
member of an Executive Board for a multimillion-dollar not-for-profit
corporation? What is your current occupation and how does that relate
to your qualifications? Describe your most successful...

Who (or what) is "Marcus Roberts"? by
leshaun.fossett@gmail.com
I'm a casual reader of this group. I can't help but to notice the
strange and outlandish antics of a person who calls themselves "Marcus
Roberts".
Can anyone explain who (or what) the hell "Marcus Roberts" is? Any why
does he (or it) have so many greviences to air?
Thanx in advance,
Leshaun Fossett

I filed ethics charges against Joel Channing, Don Schultz and Bill Goichberg by
samsloan
I've team up with Beatriz Marinello. She's my friend and on my side
now. We're both going after Channing, Schultz and Goichberg.
I already filed ethics charges against the 3 stooges. If I can destroy
Tanner, I can destroy them too. Vote for me in the next election. The
USCF needs 4 more years of me.
You can support me by donating money at www.samsloan.com.

Bauer and Korenman are both gay. I'll expose them the same way I did to
Tanner. I'll make sure that Polgar, Bauer and Korenman will never be
elected. I'll do whatever it takes to stop them. Vote for me for
another 4 years.
