Stephen Jones for USCF Executive Board by
samsloan
Please note that Stephen Jones is a surprise new candidate for election
to the USCF Executive Board.
I know very little about him and met him only once, which was at the
1963 US Intercollegiate Championship at Notre Dame University in
Indiana. There I remembering him drawing with our team member Donald
Dean when Dean was a piece down in a position that looked hopeless.
My team, which was the...

Chessdon goes Zero for Zero for Ten! by
The Masked Bishop
Chessdon goes zero for zero for 10 on his arguments against TMB's arguments
for moving to Paris!!
1) Sam Sloan is thousands of miles away, and won't be able to make all the
board meetings.
Wrong - Sam consistently shows up at important meetings wherever they are.
Didn'tyou see the Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman. Well Sam is our Dustin
Hoffman.

Title to USCF land -- breaking news! by
parrthenon@cs.com
CROSS-T0-BEAR AND HARRY SABINE
An Executive Board member -- and I am authorized
to say it is not Sam Sloan -- contacted me to say that
there is real question over the title to what is
supposedly USCF land in Crossville.
This person has asked me to state the following:
"I don't want to cross Joel Channing and Bill
Goichberg in public, and I don't know whether I will

Paul Truong has edited my biography on Wikipedia by
Jah
"samsloan" I had thought that a Wikipedia administrator would delete these
obviously objectionable edits by Truong, but that has not happened.
Wikipedia is a bull**** organization run like "Boys Town" where the most
popular boys get to do whatever the funk they want. Since you are not
popular, anyone can screw with you. Get used to it.

samsloan
Sam,
Please try not to include me in your postings, unless it's necessary.
I think that postings like this one contribute to the polarization of
the USCF's leadership; I want not part on it.
I asked you not to say anything about the 'under the table situation."
You did not respect my wishes, and then apologized for it. I appreciate
the apology, but this does not give you a green light to...

Questions about Joel Channing by
samsloan
Regarding the "Under the Table" incident at the board meeting in
Stamford Connecticut on November 17, 2006, Joel Channing has told a lie
when the truth would have served him better. This has caused me to
wonder how many other things Joel Channing says about himself are lies.
For example, Joel Channing claims that he is a member of Mensa.
Somebody has looked him up and says that he is not a...

the real and fake Sam by

THE REAL AND THE FAKE
This seems to be the real Sam Sloan --
This seems to be the fake Sam Sloan --
One way to tell is that the real Sam doesn't use profanity.
Let's hope that Marcus Roberts or someone else solves the mystery soon.

I'm very upset at myself by
Sam Sloan
The board took a vote about my suspension and I made the wrong vote
because I heard the question wrong. It turned out that I was the only
one who voted to suspend myself. I'm very ****ed that Nolan is telling
everyone about my vote. It's just a dumb mistake.

Why is Shahade destroying the USCF website? by
Francis
The old USCF website has/had some character and unique graphics, proper
separations into boxes, multilinked pages, etc. Jennifer is killing all of
that, converting it into a bland pale blue and white format without
significant graphics, no boxes, no separators, no multilinked pages, all in
one long scrolling page. It sucks, like the new Chess Life sucks, same bland
and featureless style....

Better Excuses for Joel Channing for the "Under the Table" Incident by
samsloan
During the USCF Executive Board meeting on November 17, 2006, Joel
Channing reached under the table and put his hand on Beatriz
Marinello's leg.
Beatriz simply removed the hand from her leg and said nothing about it.
I know about this only because I was sitting next to Beatriz and
witnessed the incident.
Beatriz asked me not to say anything about it, and I have done so.

Susan Polgar's "Vision Statement" by
samsloan
I suppose that you must be referring to the statement by Susan Polgar
below.
However, these are just meaningless feel-good statements that
candidates often make. They do not address any of the serious problems
that the USCF is facing now.
They also do not answer such pertinent questions as: When will Susan
return the computer she took from the USCF offices on August 20, 2003?
