USCF website. by

*I have to admit that the revamped website looks really good.
I had my doubts about it with all that was being talked about
but it looks good.* (EZoto)
*It was redesigned?* (Ken Sloan)
Paul Hoffman got $50,000 of our dues money for THAT?!

legal right of St kits and Nevis to join FIDE by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
Looks like I am a FIDE Delegate with a Swiss law firm, doesn't it Ray
Gordon? I want to help you with your problem (not my problem) on drug
testing. Members of the General Assembly are unlikely to be drug
tested. I don't have to take the damn thing. I'll help you, but you
must understand that the USCF has ****ed our national chess
association, to the tune of 7,000 dollars.

Why should I study endgames?? by
Zero
I was beaten by a master this weekend. He told that in order to
improve chess players should study endgames.
I don't understand why I should study endgames. If I can't get through
the middlegame or the opening or am I supposed to get to a endgame?
Also I bought a endgame studies book and I don't see the point in going
over these studies. None of these positions are ever going to happen
in any...

CEASE FIRE WITH THE USCF by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
CEASE FIRE WITH THE USCF
I just got this email from former FIDE Vice President Steven Doyle.
With this e-mail, I can't continue my attack on the USCF, because
they are trying to show good faith. Therefore, I will halt any negative
action against the USCF until I can meet with them in person.
I have met Steven Doyle, and I believe what he has said.
"I tried to get them to discuss your case at...

Most successful business people are capable of working with people that they dislike by

Most successful business people are capable of working with people that
they dislike
Most successful people in business, any business are able and
frequently work with people that they intensely dislike. I doubt any
sizable fortune has been built without a good deal of personal hatred
among business associates.
The USCF, Sam Sloan included remains totally unable to deal with people
that they...

Sloan's Thesis as to the Origin of English People by
Sam Sloan
Sloan's Thesis as to the Origin of English People
I am involved with the infamous Kafir peoples in Nuristan, Afghanistan
and in Chitral, Pakinstan. There are two kinds of Kafirs: Red and
Black.
I was married to one of them and we have a daughter. This is not my
current wife, but several wives back. She is not a Kafir herself but
her ancestors are believed to have been Kafirs several...

Mike Goodall presents a platform that cannot be beat by
Sam Sloan
"My platform? 100 free rating points for everybody, and a
foldout playmate of the month in Chess Life."
See the June Chess Life, page 56. With that, I guess that the rest of
us can give up hope of winning and just pray for second place.
Actually, I think that Mike's candidates statement is quite good, in
spite of the joke above. I think that Mike should have devoted less
space to drug testing....

BEING IN THE CLIQUE by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
The real motivation behind most of chess politics: BEING IN THE CLIQUE
The fundamental motivation behind most chess politicians is to strive
for a group or clique of people to belong to. Most of the flip flop of
positions (lies, illegal and corrupt business deals) come from a need
of broke, unsuccessful failures in life, to feel POWERFUL and a sense
of BELONGING AND FELLOWSHIP.
In other words,...

Is there a World Open this year? by

I couldn't find it on the FIDE list, and WorldOpen.com still lists the 2005
results.

chess illegal on St Kitts and Nevis by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
St Kitts and Nevis - it is illegal for any citizen of St Kitts and
Nevis to play in the 2006 World Chess Championship! FIDE refuses blacks
entry to the World Chess Championship!
I just want to remind everyone that right now that there is a FIDE
Congress happening in Turin, Italy. The FIDE Congress lasts around 10
days, and it takes weeks to prepare. In all of the money spent, airfare
spent,...

Copyrighting of chessgames/player right to publicity by
Ray Gordon
Instead of all the infighting, why not work on the two things that would
bring real money to chessplayers? I'm talking about copyrighting the game
score of a chessgame (which includes not just the moves, but the date, time,
place, event, and the two players; the moves themselves obviously have no
protection), and giving players the exclusive right to publish their games
with their names...

DIRTY POLITICAL TRICK by

DIRTY POLITICAL TRICK
I am being sent fake spam messages, IN MY OWN NAME. I am being spammed
with political messages that say I sent the messages. I never sent any
spam messages! The majority party in FIDE, or some of their supporters,
is using FAKE SPAM. Furthermore, they will send you cryptic messages as
fake spam. If you get a message from me, please expect it might be
fake.

What to do about drug testing? by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
What to do about drug testing?
I am going to become a FIDE Delegate not through my chess ability or
political connections; I am becoming a FIDE Delegate via my wallet. I
am not sure what to do about this problem with drug testing. It appears
to me that it is highly unlikely that I would be able to win a majority
to abolish drug testing. Further, if I did somehow get a majority,
Kirsan will...

Two Tiered Membership in USCF by
Rob
Mr. Channing posted in a thread several months ago the following:
"You guys have given me an idea,
I'm going to work with staff to estimate the cost of a two tiered
membership - with magazine or with ezine - and try to guesstimate the
profitability of the concommitant dues structure in light of its
affect on membership numbers. Anyone still fresh on calculus? Then
we'll review it with our...

the dictatorship works as we speak by
marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
As the President of a small national chess federation, I am well
qualified to understand the economic needs of Chess in Africa from
FIDE. Kirsan wants to establish little Kirsan drug testing territories
in Africa, and vote them for his 2010 reelection. Africa needs to solve
her own problems, without the help of FIDE or Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. Only
when Africa solves her own problems can she become...
