US Chess Sales by Ange1o DePa1ma
After years of ordering my equipment and books from vendors other than USChess, I decided to give the Fed bookstore a try today. It is unlikely that I will ever do business with this outfit. The site is a taxonomic nightmare, with such categories as New Titles (of what??), Wholesale and Discount, Chess Sets, For Kids, History, etc. at the same access level. Believe it or not there is no...

My son is Kamsky's best friend and he told me that Kamsky is done with chess. He hasn't won a tournament is ages and he is broke. We need to import more grandmasters from Russia. I vote to open up the borders so all grandmasters can defect to America. Sam Sloan

Mating beautiful female teenage chess players - The Book by Wolfgang
Sam Sloan should be kicked out of the USCF immediately. Ban the scumbag! Sam Sloan wrote: As you may imagine, I have accumulated a good lot of information about ****ing beautiful female teenage chess players. Before Randy Bauer leaps to conclusions, "teenage" includes some over-16s and even some over-18s.

Beatriz Marinello took another $4,993.64 in USCF Expense money by parrthenon@cs.com
BUSINESS AS USUAL Sam Sloan is not the only one who has asked hard questions. The purging of GM Evans from Chess Life is symbolic of the decline of the USCF under the "leadership" of Beatriz Marinello. "As a matter of fact the USCF has earned a reputation for secrecy, sweetheart deals, and censorship." -- GM Larry Evans See HAPPY TALK IS HERE AGAIN

The Master Forger Strikes Again !! by Sam Sloan
The article below was written by a new Fake Sam Sloan. I did not write this. Although he uses a different name, he is clearly the same person who has posted a few fake messages starting on July 3, 2006. He is clearly a cut above all the other Fake Sam Sloans. He knows chess and writes in complete sentences. He demonstrates that he is a real chess player by pointing out a move

Should Steve Rosenberg be kicked out of the USCF? by Sam Sloan
Should Steve Rosenberg be kicked out of the USCF? Turns out that the Steve Rosenberg problem is much bigger than anybody realized at first. Steve Rosenberg was caught cheating at the World Open Under-2000 Section held in Philadelphia, June 28 to July 4, 2006. It was discovered as the tournament was concluding that he was wearing headphones and underneath he was wearing a supposed hearing...

Ignore the forgeries with the Damiano, here are some real games by Sam Sloan
Here is another forgery by the recently arrived master forger. This one is good enough that I might even consider putting it on my own website. Right now however I would like to try to figure out who the master forger is. The first thing to observe is that the forger is a real chess player. He must be at least Class A to have composed these fake games. (All of

The Man with the Hat beats Grandmaster Smirin at World Open by Sam Sloan
The Man with the Hat beats Grandmaster Smirin at World Open When coming to chess events like the World Open Chess Championship to play for the $40,000 first prize with electronic devices hidden under your clothing, it is best not to start beating famous grandmasters. Stick to wins against lower rated players. That is the lesson that computer electronic engineer Eugene Varshavsky from Israel may...

The Curse of Pillsbury by Niemand
Sam Sloan wrote: Curse of Pillsbury Explained As everybody who has studied chess history knows, Harry Nelson Pillsbury (1872-1906) had the most brilliant mind and was the most talented chess player in the history of the game. Highly debatable. Certainly he was very talented, but to say he had more chess talent than Lasker, Capablanca, Alekhine, Bronstein, Tal, Fischer, Kasparov et al...

16 Fake Sam Sloan messages posted while I was at the World Open by Sam Sloan
I must admit that what follows below is a great forgery, a work of art. If I did not know that I did not write it, I would probably have thought that I did write it. I happen to agree that there are very few people who are capable of creating such a detailed forgery. Most forgeries by are one paragraph long and contain a few obscenities, so anybody can realize that this is a...

USCF needs to stop CHEATING by Ray Gordon
The recent "situation" at a major swiss tournament only underscores the need for heightened security at tournaments, similar to that of the SAT, GRE, LSAT, CPA, or Bar exams. Even if they catch a cheater, that doesn't help those who lost to the cheater before s/he was caught. People should refuse to play in ANY tournament where cheating is as easy as smuggling something into the hall, there...

Shogi World Champion makes IM Norm at World Open in Chess by RSHaas@aol.com
Habu means snake in Japanese. There is an Okinawan "habu" as well as other types of "habu." The habu is a pit viper of some size and was once assigned to the Bothrops genus which includes the South American fer-de-lance. Some years ago the many Asian Bothrops were split away and given their own genus, Trimeresuras. Old Haasie
