NY Times Response to current affairs by
Chess One
It look like the NY Times have responded to my challenge to their reporting
of the issue - and it is a candid response, stating their pro-forma
obligations, editorial invigilation, etc. I encouraged their reporter and
editors to keep at it, and keep an open mind, since those are consequent
virtues. Phil Innes

Mig Gets A Visit From Texas by

Everyone is entitled to privacy, even anonymity, even if tends to cause some
people to let their most vicious and stupid natures out. But when it comes
to identity theft and/or manipulation via posting with multiple ID's in the
same thread I will occasionally out them. Such behavior violates basic terms
of service for a community site by posting under multiple ID's. One of the...

Impact of the Fake Sam Sloan Questioned by
samsloan
That ignores a few facts the most important of which is that although
I was not elected several times, I was several times the next one down
in number of votes so that in a race where the top two were elected I
finished third.
Also, Bill Goichberg campaigned against me in every election. Had
Goichberg merely stayed neutral and been neither for nor against me, I
would have been elected several of...

Postings disrespectful of Grandmaster Alexandra Kosteniuk
With regard to my recent lawsuit against Truong and Polgar, I have
received an inquiry as to whether persistent attacks on Grandmaster
Alexandra Kosteniuk could possibly have arisen from Polgar or Truong.
Frankly, I had been unaware that anybody had been attacking
Grandmaster Kosteniuk and for that reason I had never thought about
the...

Admiration for Sam Sloan by
ChessterMolesster@gmail.com
I must say, one quality I admire in Sam Sloan
is that of restraint.
Restraint ?! How can you say restraint?
Allow me to explain.
Imagine that some greedy ****s libeled and
impersonated you every day, calling you a child
molester, and generally getting on your last nerve.

The Mottershead Report by
parrthenon@cs.com
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
For the record, Larry, my little vignette was designed
primarily to dramatize the rationalization and weaseling
of those who seek to ignore, discredit or discount Mottershead's
information BEFORE it has been evaluated by one or more
independent credentialed experts. Our Experts should then
forward their findings to those qualified to weigh the electronic
evidence against other...

These fake postings have been happening for years, back to when I was

Whereabouts of J C Polk- Chessplayer by
ascachess@aol.com
I had a friend who was a chessplayer named J C Polk. He was
originally from Texas but went to Arizona State where he played
football for Frank Kush.
I met JC when he was a graduate student in Journalism at USC.
He went on to Notre Dame law school before returning to California
where he authored the law on legal rights for the homeless.
JC's life took some wrong turns and he ended up homeless...

USCF to Hire Lawyer Concerning Sloan's posting of 3 Pictures by Paul Truong by
parrthenon@cs.com
SAM HAS A POINT
Sam makes a very strong point: he certainly has
a right, if he is willing to pay, to tapes of the
Board meetings. Some of you out there who are on
Sam's side in this current battle will eventually gain
if you support him in this endeavour. One has to pry
open the minutes even of public meetings when dealing
with these characters and their cronies.

How Stupid Is Mottershead? by
B. Lafferty[_2_]
Not very. Will Polgar and Truong want their web logs examined in a legal
action? Unlikely. Will they voluntarily share them? Unlikely.
