Benjamin Attacks Sam Sloan in New In Chess by samsloan
Benjamin Attacks Sam Sloan in New In Chess Dear New In Chess, Your current issue contains an attack on me by Joel Benjamin. His article has absolutely no basis in fact. I would like to be given the opportunity to respond. However, I do not have your magazine. Could you please e-mail me the entire article by Benjamin and then I will respond?

Polgar refuses Roberts e-mail by marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
If you want this woman to be an Executive Board member, then how mature is she? She is a spoiled brat. No candidate for the executive board should block my e-mail. This woman is not capable of mature behavior. The original message was received at Mon, 16 Jul 2007 01:31:27 -0400 from s173.n11.vds2000.com *** ATTENTION ***

I am going to Cherry Hill by marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
I am going to Cherry Hill, NJ to attend the US Open. I am tired of people like FIDE VICE PRESIDENT Bill Kellhner trying to get me thrown in jail on St Kitts, and Susan Polgar trying to start problems with my sister. Perhaps it is time to confront these goons directly, at there own game. I'll be at the three day workshops and the membership meeting. FREE PIZZA AT THE MEMBERSHIP MEETING IN CHERRY...

Should Chess Life Columnists be Expected to Play Chess? by Paul Rubin
samsloan writes: Similarly, Susan Polgar has not played an open tournament since 2005 and has played only 6 tournaments at standard time controls in the 12 years since 1995. In the academic world they have publish or perish. A professor may be a great teacher but if he does not write he loses his job. I'm glad Sam thinks Susan writes so well then (Sam Sloan, 22...

Susan Polgar reports Marcus Roberts to the "proper authorities" by marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
Susan Polgar reports Marcus Roberts to the "proper authorities" The polgar camp is reporting me to the proper authorities. I am guilty of giving her the same **** that she gave me, in public, and my sister. I am really impressed that Susan Polgar would even bother to respond. Perhaps I am a more powerful FIDE Delegate than I thought. The FIDE ethics committee lacks jurisdiction until they admit...

Stan Vaughan is Back by samsloan
I guess that not many have realized the danger of this situation. Stan Vaughan (note correct spelling) has a history of organizing tournaments that have the same name as real tournaments, thereby hoping to trick players into entering his tournaments. For example, when FIDE held the World Championship in Las Vegas in 1999, Stan Vaughan organized his own "World Championship" and threatened to sue...

Susan Polgar has filed her Form 990 for 2006 by samsloan
Here's the filing for the SPF 990 filed in March, 2007. http://www.guidestar.org/FinDocuments/2006/371/444/2006-371444375-02e281f2-Z.pdf Total revenue, $91,102. It is interesting to examine this document. It lists only one grant awarded for the entire year 2006. That is: GRANT GIVEN TO YOUNG PROMISING CHESS STUDENT TO FURTHER HER LEARNING AND SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF CHESS $4888

If Elected, Will Polgar Serve?? by samsloan
You omitted the next sentence, plus she has already stated several times that she considers Sloan, Lux and Goodall to be unqualified. Here is more of what she says: "I am willing, ready and able to work with any qualified candidates and persons to help US Chess and the USCF. It is unfortunate that some members of this board and their supporters behaved very poorly and unethically in the past...

the situation in Russia is getting out of control by marcus@stkittsnevischess.org

I can tell you that at the higest levels of business and government. in both the USA and the Carribean, WE EXPRESS DEEP CONCERN over the situation in Russia. The situation in Russia is getting OUT OF CONTROL. Marcus Roberts

Campaign Mailing by samsloan
Dear Duncan Oxley, Sorry, you missed the cut. My second postcard, which was large size, 6 x 11, was sent to everybody in Northern California with zip codes from 94000 to 96999 and also to codes starting with 104, which is Bronx, where I live. Unfortunately, your zip code is 93933, so you did not quite make it.

GM Sorvokin by marcus@stkittsnevischess.org
Sorvokin is still dead. Does anyone know how he died? We have a bunch of chess journalists reading this, and we have people getting killed quite frequently, and nobody cares to report on the murders. On the other hand, if Susan Polgar takes a ****, everyone cares about her smelly terd! Marcus Roberts

Some Things Are Universal Constants :) by Bruce
Such as Sam Sloan, Bill Goichberg, Don Schultz, Eric Johnson and Phil Innes. Just wanted to pop in and say hello to former friends and foes alike. I have loosely followed the goings on here and at USCF but have chosen since the last adult dues increase to pretty much give up on the USCF ever correcting itself or even remolding itself into anything much more than a petty little organization...

A Brave and Foolish Act by Rob
I am making a brave and foolish act. I have entered a song of mine in a contest and I would ask that you listen and review it. HONESTLY. I realize there are those who post here that will provide negative feedback simply because we disagree on subjects. The issue in the song concerns the treatment of our wounded and disabled American...

Executive Director endorsed by Bill Goichberg by samsloan
Bill Goichberg, Jerry Hanken, myself and several onlookers were having a public debate on USCF Governance during the World Open in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania last weekend. At one point, I stated, "Our Executive Director is the worst ever!" To this, Bill Goichberg countered by reeling off a list of names of former executive directors going back to the 1970s whom, he stated, were worse than the...

Trouble at the World Open by Rob
it has been reported that a 20 year old was posing as a 40 year old player in an attempt to bolster the elder players rating and split the prize money at the world open. It was stopped only because a TD realized that the player could not possibly be the member due to their age. Never has it been more evident that rules governing the tournament and membership identification be uniform. If USCF doe...

Randy Bauer's Support for the Move to Crossville by samsloan
Go back and read the archives of rec.games.chess.politics Every time Bauer posted on the subject, he supported the move. He wrote that the USCF would save $100,000 per year because Tennessee was a low cost state. Hanke disappeared in January 2004. He has never been seen nor heard from since. He said that he had volunteered to go to Iraq and fight in the war.
