Polgar Owes Victory to Her Blogspot by
samsloan
Anybody who is wondering how Susan Polgar achieved such a sweeping
election victory has not seen her blogspot. Not only was Susan elected
but all of those elected were candidates she supported on her
blogspot.
Actually, she has two blogspots. They are at:

Sam Sloan has in interest ? by
Rob
Sloan is now interested in anothers mans "member". Sam(call me
Ismail) exibits symptoms of mental disease. I think he should be
committed to an institution.

PRELIMINARY ELECTION RESULTS by
Louis Blair
nolan 10339324
Posted: Wed Jul 25, 2007 7:04 pm
The first day of counting is over. A power outage slowed things down
for about 2 hours, actual counting didn't begin until around 3PM.
The number of ballots received as of 9AM this morning was 4513, but
that does not yet include Wednesday's mail.
States counted so far:

Will Brian Lafferty sue the USCF? by
Jackass Lafferty
The word is he promised Sam Sloan that he'll sue the USCF if Sloan
doesn't win. It's now most likely that Sloan will finish 9th, will he
sue the USCF? It's big money for Lafferty so it'll be interesting to
see his true plan.

Bill Goichberg comments on Election Results Thus Far by
samsloan
Based on the returns so far, I believe it is very likely that Polgar,
Bauer and Truong will be elected, along with Jim Berry. There is still
a slight chance that Steve Jones will prevail as a result of huge
support in California, but this seems unlikely.
Randy Bauer would deny that he is part of a "coalition." I believe
that he will vote independently, as he did when last on the board, so
even...

Resignation of Gregory Alexander as moderator5 by
samsloan
What you seem to be saying if I understand you correctly is that you
pulled a post, then the FOC voted to restore it, it was restored, and
then you pulled the post a second time in defiance of the FOC decision
to restore the post.
If that was the case, then I feel that you should have been
sanctioned. After all, you should be required to obey the same rules
just like everybody else.
Now, you...

One of my Proposals to make the USCF Profitable Again by
samsloan
My proposal, which I have advocated for 30 years long before I became
a member of the board, is to make the USCF rating system international
by first rating a few high level tournaments including the Olympiads
which would give every top level player in the world a USCF rating and
then invite other countries to have their events USCF rated upon
payment of applicable fees.
I have presented my...

Brian P Lafferty insulted the great Kevin Bachler of Illinois by
Jackass Lafferty
Excuse me (Kevin Bachler), but your name isn't Michael Aigner. Michael
can speak for himself.
I'm certain that you'll understand that not only do I not like or
respect you, I could not care less what your opinion is of me.

Brian P Lafferty supports a convicted felon by
Jackass Lafferty
I see Brian Lafferty has a fan. I'm not surprised.
I DID present evidence -- two posts that I think have as little
relationship to reality as the typical WWN story. Again, there are
other examples. I could have mentioned the "chess fund-raising site"
whose URL was posted and that supposedly belonged to AF4C, for
example. (it was a hard-core pornography site that had no relationship
at all to...

Brian P Lafferty cited for being an asshole by
Jackass Lafferty
** Mr. Lafferty, YOU are one of the five reasons that I cited for my
resignation.
Michael Aigner
** What's even more amazing is this forum has become so negative and
filled with hatred. A year ago you would have never seen this. Can't
people be civil anymore? My 1 year old acts better than half the
people on here (like Brian P Lafferty, Brian Mottorshead, Harry Payne,
Brenan Nierman, David...

Election Over but Financial Results Still Not Public by
samsloan
Do you realize that now that the date to count the votes has arrived
and the election is over except for the counting of votes, there still
has been no release of financial information, none whatever, expect
for my reporting the unaudited figure of a loss of $57,915, and no
details beyond that?
Had it not been for my reporting of that figure, which I was able to
do because I am on the board and...

Problems with Payment of Prizes at the US Championships
Phil Innes, who is notoriously anti-USCF and wants to put us out of
business, has scooped the board by posting on rgcp that the prizes
still have not been paid for the US Woman's Championship, even though
the event finished and the players went home a week ago. Also there
was a problem with the payment of the top prizes for the US...
