Susan Polgar dyes her hair blond !!!!! by
samsloan
Susan Polgar has black hair. She dyes it blond.
This of course pertains directly to my article here a few days ago
about why Cavegirl Blonds have More Fun.
Did anybody here know that her hair is really black? Does anybody
care?
Is this a valid campaign issue?

What is the purpose of USCF? by
Chess One
Since the Delegates elect the board, here is a conversation with one:-
---------------
Desperate stuff! Why has Nakamura said that there are no promising young
players emerging in the US? Can you think that they don't get the right
sort
of encouragement and quality of training?

Everybody Wants Lux but Susan by
samsloan
This is a song to be played on a steel guitar to the music of I can't
remember which song. It goes like this:
Everybody Wants Lux
Everybody Wants Lux
Everybody Wants Lux but Susan
It is a fact that every campaign letter or endorsement letter that has
gone out thus far has endorsed Joe Lux for the USCF Executive Board.

How must to list your name on the USCF ballot? by
Rob
Does a persons "legal" name need to be on the USCF ballot in order for
it to be oficial? Didn't Sloan change his "legal" name? If he was
elected under an "alias" is that legal?

365 Selected Chess Endings by Whitaker is published today by
samsloan
My latest reprint, "365 Selected Chess Endings" by Norman T. Whitaker
and Glenn E. Hartleb, has gone on sale today on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/0923891846
Although this book was first published in Germany in 1960, it never
got in the bookstores because Hartleb was killed in an auto accident
shortly thereafter. The only people I know who actually have the book
were given it by Whitaker.

Complaint against Susan Polgar by
samsloan
Complaint against Susan Polgar
I hereby formally lodge an official complaint against Susan Polgar.
Please forward this to the appropriate authorities.
My complaint is that Susan no longer attacks me. It has been several
days since she attacked me by name. It might even have been a week.
What will I do? If the voters find out that Polgar no longer attacks
me, they will think that I have gone...

Candidate Matches Predictions by
EG
Who do you think will win to go to the final tournament? Do you think
that there will be any politically based arguments/cheating scandals?
I think that Aronian will probably beat Shirov. He has already won
the first game and can just glide through the rest of the games.
I think that Grischuk is the favorite when compared to Rublevsky.
Rublevsky is an expert in the Scheveningen sicilian but he...

Susan Changes Hats by
samsloan
Exactly the point I have been trying to make for quite some time, but
few people here know Susan's history.
Susan fought for years against exactly the sort of gender distinction
she is trying to make here. Susan fought against Girls Tournaments,
against Woman's Tournaments, against Girls Training Programs, against
Woman's Chess Olympiad Training Programs.
Susan fought against all the programs...
