Better Excuses for Joel Channing for the "Under the Table" Incident by
samsloan
During the USCF Executive Board meeting on November 17, 2006, Joel
Channing reached under the table and put his hand on Beatriz
Marinello's leg.
Beatriz simply removed the hand from her leg and said nothing about it.
I know about this only because I was sitting next to Beatriz and
witnessed the incident.
Beatriz asked me not to say anything about it, and I have done so.

Response to Ethics Complaint by Herbert Rodney Vaughn by

Response to Ethics Complaint by Herbert Rodney Vaughn
Herbert Rodney Vaughn has filed a 400 page ethics complaint against me.
I think the length of the complaint speaks for itself. For reasons
unknown to me, Mr. Vaughn has been obsessed with me for some time. He
has been attacking me on the USCF Forum at
http://www.uschess.org/forums under the fake name of tanstaafl for the
last one year, with...

Susan Polgar's "Vision Statement" by
samsloan
I suppose that you must be referring to the statement by Susan Polgar
below.
However, these are just meaningless feel-good statements that
candidates often make. They do not address any of the serious problems
that the USCF is facing now.
They also do not answer such pertinent questions as: When will Susan
return the computer she took from the USCF offices on August 20, 2003?

Michael Aigner on the US Championship by
samsloan
Bill Goichberg has posted elsewhere that it was entirely because of Sam
Sloan that "we the people" backed out of sponsoring the US
Championship.
(For those of you not in the know, the term "we the people" is Wall
Street slang or an euphemism or nickname for the largest brokerage
firm. We all know who that is.)
However, above Bill states that it is because of "Internet Postings"
that "we the...

Modern Joseki and Fuseki, Volume Two, went for sale on Amazon today.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0923891765/slavesofthomasje
For some unknown reason, they printed Modern Joseki and Fuseki, Volume
Two, before they printed Volume One, even though I finalized Volume One
a day before I finalized Volume Two.
But, anyway, I am not complaining as I am sure that Volume One will be
out in a...

Bill Goichberg and the 2007 US Championship by
samsloan
I have been avoiding the forum ever since Bill had me suspended from
posting here, but I cannot let this one pass.
At a meeting in Seattle in February, 2006, Bill Goichberg was informed
that AF4C was downgrading its involvement in the US Championship. Thus,
Bill knew by that date that AF4C would probably not be sponsoring the
2007 US Championship.
According to the contract with the Seattle...

Hard Disk Data Recovery Expert by

Hard Disk Data Recovery Expert
I have had a serious problem with my hard drive, which crashed in
October, 2006. As the hard drive contained books that I had written, it
was necessary to recover it. I took it to all kinds of experts and none
of them could do anything about it, plus I even had to pay.
I wish to report that I have finally been able to recover most of the
data on my hard drive.

Erik Anderson also said that he will donate $25,000 to the USCF. We
might use this money as part of the prize fund for a US
Championship,
with additional funding by another sponsor.
$25,000 is enough if there are no other bidders.

I have been suspended from posting to uschess.org/forums
Mike Nolan has sent me notification that I have been suspended for one
week from posting to the USCF Forums.
This in itself is not surprising. Susan Polgar and Paul Truong have
been demanding for the longest time that I be banned from posting to
the forums. Also, Joel Channing has been bombastically demanding that
the moderator and the...

AF4C has withdrawn from sponsoring the 2007 US Championship by

Bill Goichberg made the following announcement this afternoon, and made
the same announcement to Executive Board members last night:
Yesterday, USCF was in contact with Erik Anderson regarding the 2007 US
Championship.
By mutual decision of USCF and AF4C, the 2007 US Championship will not
be sponsored by AF4C, but the two organizations will continue to work
together on different projects, and...

Championship.
By mutual decision of USCF and AF4C, the 2007 US Championship will not
be sponsored by AF4C, but the two organizations will continue to work
together on different projects, and AF4C will continue to look at
possibilities for future US Championships.
Erik Anderson also said that he will donate $25,000 to the...
