Not only are some of these moves now considered part of "opening
theory", they represent completely different strategical objectives!
Each "variation" is really as complex as an entire opening labyrinth in
the game of chess!
So, yes, time will eventually shape the better choices on move 3, 4, 5,
6... but the game is still going to be 20-25 times as deep as the
"chess waters". Gothic Chess is expansive enough, it seems like there
will always be time to "try something new."
Please, please, please, will somebody establish this variants group quickly,
so that we chess players are no longer bombarded with this sort of nonsense.
