I was just on the SP Daily News site and noticed that the advert that
was there about a month ago for the Susan Polgar National Invitational
for Girls 2010 in August at TTU appears to have been taken down (unless
I just didn't spot it). This is the event where TTU provides free room
and board in the TTU for the participants. Is this event still on at TTU
for this August?

I'll wager Philsey can tell us.

Line Judge Rafferty confuses his own homosexual terms with what anyone
might want to hear about on chess subjects. This can't be any
recommendation to allowing him back onto any forum, since even though
banned from all known audited forums, he continues to 'act-up'.

How come Lafferty can't find this? *Is it lack of wit or being
overcome with his own?

June 10 to 13, 2010 * * South Point Hotel Casino Spa

This does not appear to be what Lafferty was asking about. The event
described above is being held in June in Las Vegas. Lafferty was
asking about an event to be held in August at Texas Tech University.
Could this be the same event, but with the date and venue changed?

Different events. The SPNI for Girls was, IIRC, scheduled for the last
week in July at TTU with TTU giving free room and board in the TTU dorms
for the participants.
