Default Bill Hook RIP

From the USCF Web Site

Bill Hook, author of "Hooked on Chess", captain of the Washington
Plumbers championship team of the National Chess League, individual gold
medal winner on first board at the 1980 Chess Olympiad (playing for the
British Virgin Island team), participant in a record 18 consecutive
World Chess Olympiads, local chess master in the Washington, DC area,
and before that, the New York city area, died today, under hospice care,
at his home in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was 85 years old. He is
survived by his wife, Mimi Hook, a long time friend of the Washington,
DC chess community and frequent hostess to chess players in her home.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday.
