Default Chess Player LOTF Reality Show

I have a suggestion:

Have a Chess Player reality show where you drop a bunch of chess
players (from beginner to grandmaster) on an island and see what
happens. And unlike "survivor" etc. this would not be a game with
prizes but instead it would be a real life Lord of the Flies - only
with mixed ages of chess players - and no outside resources or help.
The island would have enough food to survive (in theory). I have
always been curious as to whether chess ability has any
evolutionary-survival benefit or if it is just a random development or
if it is in fact counter to survival. Also the island would not have
any chess sets so the pieces would have to be fashioned from the
natural surroundings if people wanted to play.
