Default playing against the computer is not like playing against humans

I noticed that people play different openings than computers play. A
computer is likely to play 1.e4, or 1.d4
but the last few chess games i played online, they played 1.g3, or
c4, or f4, or d3, or some other move. they are not bad moves, they're
just different, and it's harder to beat a human player.

Trying to figure out which opening is best to play against humans, the
Alekhine's defense worked best for me.
