Default How to improve on this position: 4r1k1/ppp2R2/2bbP3/7p/7B/1BP5/PPP3rP/3RK3w - - 0 25

I could not get anything more than a draw out of this position, even
up +3.xx pawns says Fritz. Could not queen the e-pawn. Perhaps
keeping both bishops on the board was advised, but I feared black's
attack.

This is because you haven't yet used the new world record chess engine
of GetClub than can analyze up to 40 moves depth ;-)

True, but he also blew it by not playing 25.e7!, which wins in all
variations. Also 29.Re1 had very good prospects, viz. 29...Rg2+ 30.Kc1
a5 (if 30...h3 31.Re5+-) 31.Re6 a4 32.Bc4 b5 33.Rxc6 bxc4 34.Rxc4+-.
It might even have worked a move later, 30.Re1.

A local charity bookshop carrying some Silman books might be an even
better solution, especially in the long-term.

Shut your pie hole Fart. Truth is, you yourself probably would have
blown this win. If not, show us some of your games, quack. Blitz
games only. I don't want to see games where you have several minutes
to think.

Fart, this one is for you. Note how I fought back from a poor
position.

See if you can see why, without using your computer, my opponent
resigned given this position: R3r1k1/6pp/1Np2p2/2Pp4/1P1nq3/8/1Q2nPPP/
