Default Why this move score difference in this position? From a women's GMblitz game r1b1k1nr/p4ppp/n1pQp3/p7/2P1q3/8/PP2BPPP/R3K1NR w KQkq - 0 11

r1b1k1nr/p4ppp/n1pQp3/p7/2P1q3/8/PP2BPPP/R3K1NR w KQkq - 0 11

In the above position, why does 11. Rd1 get +1.29 from Fritz 9 while
the seemingly similar move 11. O-O-O only get -0.90?

A real conundrum.

Note in the actual game, both 26. Rxd7?? and 32...Rd7?? were real
stinkers by these two women GMs. Remember Alekhine's admonition, as
quoted by TK, that there's no excuse for mistakes even in blitz. Had
I made these mistakes and posted this game TK would be all over me.

Now back to our question: why the different scoring for this
variation on move 11? Note this move was important in the actual game
as well.

Don't know why this brilliant post did not show up in r.g.c.m., so I
copy it there.
