Default Grob's Angriff is being reprinted

Grob's Angriff

This book is the seminal work on the chess opening now known as Grob's
Attack.

This chess opening starts with 1. g2-g4 or, in Descriptive Notation,
1. P-KN4.

Although the book is in German, it is written in chess notation and
thus it is not necessary to know German to read this book.

It has become a rare book. Prior to thus reprinting no copies of this
book were available on Amazon or at any other English language
bookseller. The copy used to reprint this book was obtained only
through a dealer in rare books in Germany.

Once thought of as a joke, the Grob Opening is a very dangerous
opening to both the white and black sides in chess. The 1. g2-g4
opening was named after the true Renaissance man Henry Grob, a
portrait painter, newspaper columnist, and international chess master.
Henry Grob had outstanding results in several chess tournaments during
the nineteen-twenties through the nineteen-fifties. In 1937 he tied
for first through third places with the world championship contenders
Grandmaster Reuben Fine and Grandmaster Paul Keres in Ostend. Also in
1947 and 1948, he came in second through fourth places behind
Grandmaster Laszlo Szabo in Hastings. In 1951 he finished tenth place
at the Bad Pyrmont World Championship Zonal which was won by
Grandmaster Svetozar Gligoric.
