I don't think this is book by know , white has missed the Bxf7+ for the full
point I think twice!
Black looks good to win from move ..16 Ne7.

It seems that Ne7 is inferior at Qf6.

16...Nce7!? (just a joke) 17.Ne5 Rf6 18.0-0 and I think white has some
compensation, .... no games in my database.

Hi,

1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.e5 c5 5.a3 Bxc3+ 6.bxc3 Ne7 7.Qg4 0-0 8.Nf3
Nbc6
9.Bd3 f5 10.exf6 Rxf6 11.Bg5 Rf7 12.Qh4 h6 13.Qh5 !?
This move looks somewhat odd to me. A "normal" move would have been 13.Bxe7.
But it´s interesting...
13... hxg5
This looks normal. [13... cxd4 is risky 14.Bh7+! Kxh7 15.Qxf7 hxg5 16.Nxg5+
can White win?].
14.Qh7+ !? (N)
[Also possible is 14.Nxg5 g6 15.Nxf7 gxh5 16.Nxd8 Nxd8 with an interesting
position, White has a plus pawn, but Black has two knights against a rook.]
14... Kf8 15.Qh8+ Ng8 16.Bh7
Well, now 16... Nce7 holds Blacks position together. White has some
compensation, but is it enough?
I´m not sure... here are some lines...
a) 17.Ne5 Rf6 18.O-O Qa5 19.Ng4 Qxc3 20.Nxf6 gxf6 looks like a won position
for Black
b) 17.Nxg5 Rf4 18.O-O looks like good compensation for White (ideas Rfe1 or

I play a game like that sometimes ago.
Nce7 is to slow and white has a better game, better is Qf6 with the idea g6
and white are on bad position.

Cordialement
