Default Strange behaviour of Fritz in this problem

Chess Amateur 1922
Blathy O.T.
Mat in 16 moves
White : King e1 Pawn h2
Black : King c1 Queen a2 Rock d2,b3 Knight e1,b1 Bishop a3, d1 Pawn b2,b4,
c2,c3,c4,c5,d3,e2
So Black as all his pieces and White only the King + one Pawn

The solution is easy to find as Black has always exactly one legal move :

1.Kxe1 Qa1 2.h3 Qa2 3.h4 Qa1 4.h5 Qa2 5.h6 Qa1 6.h7 Qa2 7.h8N Qa1 8.Ng6 Qa2
9.Ne5 Qa1 10.Nd7 Qa2 11.Nxc5 Qa1 12.Ne4 Qa2 13.Nd6 Qa1 14.Nxc4 Qa2 15.Na5
Qa1 16.Nxb3# 1-0

But whatever the time Fitz8 and all other engines give evalution 0.00 before
the 15 move where they announce proudly mat in one !

Why this strange behaviour ?

There's both a white king and a black knight on e1.
I guess the white king could be on f1

Maybe it considers the to-and-fro shuffle of the queen from a1 to a2
leading to a draw by threefold repetition.

I think you got the position wrong:

The king sees mate the mate for white in second on my machine.

2.h3 wins, 2.h4 only draws

The position that you give above is clearly wrong. I'm pretty sure
that White's King should be on f1.

If this is correct, then Chessmaster 9000 announces Mate in 16 in
three seconds on a P3-733.
