Default Playing variants withEmacs-chess

Hello,
Is there a way to make it so that the emacs chess program doesn't
check the validity of moves? I play wild games on ICC that don't always
follow normal conventions, and I'd like to be able to play them without my
board getting hung up.

Thanks,
Terrence
