Default Is this a bug with the clock in Rebel 12 DOS

Player Clock Bug

From a fresh install of Rebel 12 DOS.
Start Rebel 12 DOS, click mouse at splash screen to enter program. Now have
REBEL play the first move by either
pushing ALT-M or by clicking on the REBEL button. Rebel will now play the
first move, but please take a look at the clocks, Rebel's clock is ticking,
not the players clock. If REBEL just made the first move, then it is now my
turn, so shouldn't my clock be running?

I suspect the player's names are not correct. While Black's clock is
running, it appears that Rebel, not the person, is to move. If you correctly
identify the players, with Rebel as white, I bet the program would perform
the way you are expecting.

the bug is real. it is a reported bug-- and it was fixed a while ago.
do an online upgrade of rebel to solve your problem (assuming that you
have registered your copy, then this is easy to do within the program
from the 'help' menu.)
