Everything is relevant.

IMO in comparison with the 9,999986% of the human in the earth, in
general is
miles ahead.
IMO in comparison with the GM's of 2500 or below, in general is
better.
IMO in comparison with the GM's of 2500-2710, in general is the same.
IMO in comparison with GM's 2710, in general is a little worse.
And all these with 3,4,5 or even 6 man endgame tablebases.

What "in general" mean? It means "in most positions". Because there
are some kind of positions where the evaluation of all the top and
non-top engines are
at beginner's level and even children would understand it better.

As of October 17, 2003, Fritz 8 was rated 2753 by the SSDF
(http://www.icdchess.com/cgi-bin/stor...sdflist.html&c
art_id=2274318.12689). You don't get this rating by being less than top
level grandmaster strength in the end game.

That's a rating obtained by playing only against other computers. You
can't compare the computers in that rating list with the grandmasters in
FIDE's list because the two are from disjoint populations.
