Default Tablebase statistics

I am looking for information regarding the distribution of N in "mate in N", versus "number of pieces on board" for
table-base calculations. Has anyone done this for existing table-bases?

There are files for each Nalimov tablebase that list how many positions
have win/lose in N. (The .tbs files, available, for instance, at
http://kd.lab.nig.ac.jp/chess/tablebases-online/, where it's easy to
locate them, but also at several other sites.)

You would have to merge the data to get the corresponding data for
pieces on the board-related statistics.
