Sanny Dearest,

Your Time Display is horribly innacurate. A full minute and 15 seconds
went by on the programs move, yet the display indicated 48 seconds.

Is that how you meet the time constraints?

Really interested in your comments on this.

Regards,
Mark

"Tough" is stretching it more than a bit.

While it is playing much faster than it used to, it is still
nowhere near the claimed times, typically being 1.5 to 2 times the
maximum stated.

It exceeds the time limit even by the clock on the page, which runs
10% to 50% slower than real time.

Play with Normal level for big Challenges.

The only challenge is staying awake.

It took more than 4 minutes, at Normal level, to make the first
move, and is currently ay 8 minutes for move 2...

10 minutes, now, though the clock claims only 368 seconds.

At the moment it doesn't even follow the rules. E.g. it doesn't do pawn
promotions correctly.

For the first nine moves, the game has not taken less than 4
minutes for a move, and all except 3 moves have taken more than 10
minutes. Even if it were making outstanding moves, that would be
too long for a reasonable game. As it is, the moves are a joke.
Look at the start of the game:

1. f4 d5 { 4:00+ }
2. e3 Be6 { 14:00+ }
3. b3 Qd7 { 6:00+ }
4. Bb2 a5 { 14:05 (claiming 622 secs.) }

It is now at 18 minutes for its 9th move... it moved at 19:30.

Beginner and Easy levels are now playing at a decent speed, even
though not at the speed claimed, but they cannot be called strong
by any other than a rank beginner.

I tested on my computer with wall Clock and it is running correctly.

The timer uses Computer's System Clock. It looks like a few people
Computer's Battery has gone low. You need to replace the Battery and
the clock will again work properly. It just costs $1.00 to replace
those batteries.
