Default Shredder 8 bug?

I have problems playing with Shredder 8. It simply won't calculate more than
2 ply or so after move 25. Anyone knows how can I fix it?

Also, in Playchess server I cannot make it even star a game when playing
engine v/s engine.

Thanks in advance and greetings to yall from Chile.

I have heard that cracked versions won't work correctly after move 25. If
you have the original CD, then I suggest that you reinstall it.

Fixed.
The release had a mistake but now it's solved.

Which release? The CB release or some crack-release?
Anyway, haven't noticed any problems with the original release.

Default Shredder 8 bug? - maybe it didn't install properly

I've installed Shredder 8 twice from the original CD. Both times I got an
installation/system error with my Windows XP Home. It said that I should
install it again. I did, and it produced a parallel installation in a
different folder! So that wasn't a very good idea.

Finally, using Add or Remove Programs, I uninstalled both of those Shredder
8 installations, and my former Shredder 7 installation too. Then I cleaned
up the associated .ini files, such as removed references to old Shredder &
Fritz installations from chssbase.ini (but left the tablebases and
chessbase8 linkages).

Then Shredder 8 installed OK.

I still don't have the pleasure of meeting some Italo Sambuceti Oyarzyun
(living in Santiago?)

BTW... not very good your tracking tool

That doesn't make it either legal or ethical. Posting publically about
it, with all the information needed to track you down (Italo Sambuceti
Oyarzyun +56 02 3101609) isn't the brightest move either.

I can do the same with you IP son what's your point? Anyone knows how to
track an IP. Unfortunately, programs only give you administrative contact -
wich in this case is old data ;o) - and they don't tell you much more info.
In fact my IP masking works good as I don't even live in South America.

Greetings

I didn't track *you*, I tracked down the contact information of who is
responsible for your connection to the Internet ... thus, you can be
found with a simple subpoena. Your IP address shows plain as day.
