Default ChessPartner Issues

I downloaded the CP free evaluation application and during the setup it
always
stops at 72% at std.tff it is downloading to he

c:/windows/fonts/std.tff

I tried re-downloading the application three times and I sent CP-support an
email, with no response yet.

Does anyone know why this is happening ?

What can I do to fix this issue ?

It would help if we knew the following;

1. Which version of ChessPartner do you have?
2. What is the byte size of the file you downloaded?
3. Which decompression program did you use to extract the zip?
4. What operating system are you running?
5. Is this your machine, or is it a work computer? (i.e. is a profile
involved)
6. What security software do you have running?

The above questions just answer some basics, which will help
enormously in finding out what might be wrong.

None it is self extracting

4. What operating system are you running?


Windows XP

5. Is this your machine, or is it a work computer? (i.e. is a profile
involved)

I turned off Norton Anti-Virus but the issue persisted

The above questions just answer some basics, which will help
enormously in finding out what might be wrong.

Anti virus software, I did not close fully ! My error


Do u know anything about hooking up a UCI chess engine such as Shredder 8 ?

Sorry - not tried any UCI engines yet. Crafty was pretty self
explanatory, so I can't think it's going to be that difficult.
