Default What is the Rating of Help Bot?

What is the Rating of Help Bot is it 1800? or 1900? or 2000?

As Beginner Level at GetClub is playing as good as Help Bot. However
it is a little weaker than Help Bot. As most of the games were won by
Help Bot while Beginner won only 2 of them.

If Help Bot is 1900 rated.

Beginner: 1850
Easy: 1950
Normal: 2050
Master: 2150

Play Chess at: http://www.GetClub.com/Chess.html

So now Master Level Plays 2100+

What do Taylor Kingston say? Can Fritz still beat the Master Level as
it used to earlier? Can Taylor Kingston win the Master Level even now?
If 5 Matches take place between Master & them How many of them can he
win?

Lets start the Matches !!!

Bye
Sanny

As a matter of interest, how many beginners do you know who are rated at
1850?

He does know chess players and ratings only from hearsay. So your
question is futile.

GetClub Game further improved. Not it would be very difficult for Help
Bot to get higher ratings. As Beginner Level will play much stronger.
Even if a single mistake is done by Help Bot. He will loose the game.

Help Bot should now think 2 minutes for every move before playing
otherwise he will loose the Game. Beginner level itself is so
difficult that Nomorechess will never be able to win Higher Levels.

Very Bad for Help Bot. He cannot win at GetClub now. As GetClub has
become much stronger.

Play Chess at:http://www.GetClub.com/Chess.html

Still Zebediah, Taylor Kingston, Stinky Garnoot, Bonsai can beat the
Master Level or not that is yet to be seen.

I think Taylor Kingston should play a few games with Master Level and
tell if he can still win at GetClub.

He will loose the game.

It is a terrible thing to loose the game; it's worse than playing a
loose game, in fact, though the latter often leads to the former.

It is extreme hubris, not to mention the height of folly, to compare
GetClub with Fritz. Statements like the one above destroy any shred
of credibility that GetClub might by chance still retain.

When I get a little time I am going to run some programs against
GetClub. I'll start with something from the early 1990s and work my
way forward. Let's see at what point GetClub will actually land. Can
GetClub beat, say, Sargon? (Doubtful...) How about Gerbil? Maybe I
need to go back to Microchess?

Should be fun.

Sanny has absolutely no idea about different strengths of programs and
players, as he obviously never met a player beyond beginners level and
never bothered getting hands on a halfway decent chess program, be it an
old and cheap version of Fritz or some of the strong free ones. One
should be aware, that everything he says about the strength of his
program or other players is completely random. It has been when he
appeared here a year ago and still is, constantly ignoring each and
every comment in this regard. It's always: "Bugs have been fixed, it is
now stronger than ever."

Statements like the one above destroy any shred

To use "credibility" and "GetClub" in one sentence, is as close to an
oxymoron as it can get.

I once let it play against Shredder on a Siemens S65. It seemed for a
while that this hardware was too less to even beat GetClub - but in the
end the mobile phone turned out to be strong enough. I am quite sure,
that if you let any software running on current hardware, it would
slaughter GetClub. Maybe it would be a match for one of those old chess
computers from the early 80s, or Sargon on a 386.

Greetings,
Ralf

Well, your post gave me an idea: test GetClub against Sargon_III on an
apple2 1Mhz.
Unfortunately, GetClub registering system sucks apparently as much as
the program itself, and I was not able to register, the code sent by
mail was always refused by the system.

It gave me the opportunity to wander on the whole site, with, for a
french speaking person, translations in french that can be looked upon
as some of the most miserable failures of automatic translation...

It looks like Sanny is from India (at least, that's what we get when
doing a reverse address translation on his machine IP address), but I am
still wondering if the guy is for real. It really looks like an hoax or
some sort of psychological experiment to test how internet newsgroups
react to totally absurd situations...
Or maybe Sanny is a computer program answering automatically, like the
ELIZA shrink software in the good old times.... That would explain his
(its) inability to say more than "Bugs have been fixed"

It's 1362, but rising fast.

As Beginner Level at GetClub is playing as good as Help Bot.

Preposterous! No one plays as good as help bot.

However it is a little weaker than Help Bot.

Uh-huh. So you want to have it both ways, eh?

As most of the games were won by Help Bot

The proof is in the pudding. As for everything
else, I ate it already.
