I've not watched that because videos are a pain in the pyjamas over a
dial-up link; but there is a well known way to beat one of the two best
chess players on Earth. Have one of them (W) play white, and the other
(B) play black. Let W make his first move and play that move against
B. Let B play his first move and play that against W. And so on.
Well, I suppose it might end in a draw, but to play the two best players
to draws is no mean feat.

There's actually an amusing chess short story based on that.

The new world chess champ was doing a world simultaneous tour,
when he fetched up by accident playing a couple of local
champs from hicksville. He soon saw that they were doing
the above, (he'd generously allowed one of them to start as white).

Realizing that a headline of "two local hicks tie up world champ"
would not be good publicity, he devised a cunning plan to beat them.
He gradually ramped up the speed of play, got to a tricky position
where he suspected one of them would play an out of order move.
It worked, even though he got a slightly inferior position on both
boards, which didn't worry him at all. Unfortunately the hicks
were just good enough to protect their advantages, and played
inspiredly enough to eventually WIN both games!

The headlines were very humiliating...
