Default Leko: What are his chances?

Tai Pruce-Zimmerman ("Chess By The Numbers") published the first super-early prediction (based on a probabilitic model) of results at the upcoming World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.
According to this model, Leko's chances are rather low: 0.9% for Candidates berth.

He has to be the modern day Schlecter of our time. He was one game away of winning the World Title and he was a tremendous positional player. He never was the same after that
world title match. He has proven that he can hold his own with the best in the world Who knows where his thinking is today.
