Default Suggestios for Black responses against 1.e4 and 1.d4

I'm new in this forum and keen to use the collective wisdom here.

I need to find reliable openings with Black against 1.e4 and 1.d4.

Not keen on too much theory, nor passive positions.

Thinking about the French and the Dutch.

Any thoughts on the above?
