On Thursday, February 3rd, Samuel H. Sloan died in his sleep.

Where can this be verified? Why does the news come first from Germany?
If this is so, this may explain why Sam hasn't posted lately.

David, there are no obits for "Sloan" in the New York Times or Newsday
that I could find. I think someone has a sick sense of humor.

Jan 27, according to Google.
