And many more players, like Allgaier, Boncourt, Alexandre, Weyle, Lewis,
Williams, Mouret and Lloyd Smith.

and Joop van
Oosterom, the Dutch billionaire / new World Correspondence Chess Champion,
is operated by Jeroen Piket.

He already was a very strong correspondence chess player before he hired
Piket though, and used to be a strong over the board player when he was
young (former Dutch youth champion).

It's possible but is there any evidence for that?

I don't think so since he has a well-established chess career as you can see at

It's evident that he is very strong chess player, but what's the Piket's
influence (or role) in his last World Correspondence Chess Championship?

Goran Tomic

Quotation from page 47 of the special issue on van Oosterom I
suggested you to read: "One of his key employees is FIDE grandmaster
Jeroen Piket whose job is not, as rumour tells, to help Joop van
Oosterom with his chess games, but who rather is in the process of
taking over as Joop's right-hand-man for his business affairs. Van
Oosterom's chief amanuensis will soon be retiring when Piket has
learnt each aspect of the work."

Evidently Krabbe thinks it's more than just rumour.
