News not fit to print

Gentlemen,

We await either a defense or dead silence re Stan Booz's attack on
Joel Channing from members of the ticket.

NEWS NOT FIT TO PRINT

200 posts and 24 hours later, its silence! Stern resolute unbroken silence.

Discussion still surrounds issues of fairness of financial reporting in CL.
The fairness of reporters is not a topic.

Another topic which has 'gone south' is transparency. No one on-board can
think of anything they want to be transparent about. At least George John
will not talk about 'divisiveness' or fair and unfair reporting by the
people who are running the show, until Larry freezes over.

This is normal propaganda for election season. What's novel is the brazen
scale of it this time around.

The issue of the week has nothing to do with expense money: it has to do
with the take over of the Federation by those who view themselves as acting
from opportunity & expediency, against views that see it as rail-roading the
org down a very narrow track.

Good to see you're no longer in the Schultz/Goichberg camp but I do wish you
join so you could vote and be part of the USCF recovery that has been going
on for the past year and two-thirds and for which everybody that is anybody
is personally taking credit for such and all done without Mensa or reception
of Larry Parr's one-track advice and then you too can chip in and fish from
the trestle of the second guessers.

I am not very camp Stan.

USCF is recovering into a Small-Tent of ratings administration and a members
rag-gone-abusive-political, this is well and good I suppose, but is only a
small fraction of the chess scene, and too small to interest me. Besides, I
would have ethical concerns.

I don't want anything from USCF, I am interested in chess development in the
USA and beyond. I'm not sure it would constitute a good fit.

Hi Stan,

Trollgar's up to their usual politicing at Chess Cafe:

"The Upcoming USCF Election
"A few years ago the USCF was on the verge of bankruptcy, but many
people worked very hard to save the federation and today it is
financially stable."

and

"The behavior and profane language of certain USCF officials is
appalling."

http://www.chesscafe.com/polgar/polgar.htm

(Note to Philth Innes - please look up "fair use" before posting your
usual lawsuit nonsense.)

When are you going to develop a sense of ethics, Philth?

Barum of chess leaves his slimy paw print where ever he goes.

The PT Barum of chess leaves his slimy paw print where ever he goes.

So, even after all this time, you've *still* got a hardon over Truong,
eh Booz?

I suggest that you check your viagra supply, in case it's contaminated.

BTW, who is: "PT Barum"?

As usual, the evidence is something else. Mr. Innes is listed as
"Business Manager" of Chessville. Among the website's advertisers are
Joel Channing, the latest Schultz puppet, and Bill Goichberg, who has
an ad attacking the Booz/Dubeck report in the latest Chess Life. No
other political ads appear on the Chessville website. Is it any wonder
Mr. Innes posts as he does?

CLUB-ERIE NEWS ROUND-UP?

I am neither the publisher nor the editor of Chessville. In group
communications with publisher and editor we first agreed together that we
would accept election ads from any party.

In communications with those parties it is made plain that they will be
labeled 'paid advertisement'. And consequently they are presented as such.
Should other parties wish to advertise at Chessville they are welcome, and
their material will be received and presented on the same basis.

I believe that I have never made any personal comments on Joel Channing, and
have in fact never even written to him personally.

Any commentary concerning Bill Goichberg have been part of a much longer
lasting issue on the Crossville move, and subsequent management shenanigans
on the role of USCF's Ex Dir and President, and predate the advertisement by
3 or 4 months.

I wonder how they teach history in PA? Quite possibly they will have
standards?

A moment of light relief is found in all this writing by the happy discovery
of a character who should definitively find himself a regular spot in the
new TV sit-com series, CLUB-ERIE, about a chess club over there, and over
the edge. What's in a name? Maybe B. Erie?

Since there have been no "shenanigans", except from the point of view
of Bill Goichberg, Innes is blowing smoke as usual. Meanwhile his
newsgroup posts show the camp he resides in.

Yes, we decided that we wouldn't go around calling people KGB agents
without some sort of evidence we could present when questioned.
Meanwhile, keep 'parroting' St. Bill's party line, as you have done.
You might make some money yet.

"I've worked in politics and government for almost 20 years. One of
the things a wise former Senate President taught me is that if you're
agitating the flakes (Sloan, Parr, Innes), you're probably doing just
fine." - Randy Bauer
