Default This joint is almost dead

OK, guys... liven it up. I mean posts about top posting, shogi
lessons, and Kingston's arrivals and departures ain't gonna get it.
What's up with Beatriz? What's doing in Crossville? Topics of
substance are needed here to keep the juices flowing.
Get on the stick.. or.. you're FIRED.

Haasie has no chess contacts other than here. That is one reason why he
has to start posts on such irrelevant things as spiritualism and other
drivel. Reading rgcp is his means of digging up dirt on people he
imagines to be "celebrities" in chess, and it feeds his Southerner's
need to be knee-deep in gossip. Southerners like him love to do nothing
more than smile at you with their faux "Southern hospitality" and then
drive a knife into your back when you aren't looking.

AUTO DA FE

Rgcp evidently needs a public execution --
preferably an unavoidably splashy and colorful
dismemberment.

NM Taylor Kingston, the 1800-rated but
self-proclaimed 2300-plus ELO acetylene torch, clearly
has every reason to volunteer. What a splendid auto
da fe it would be -- a willing commendation of himself
to chess eternity, covered live right here at rgcp
with Sam Sloan providing commentary of the brave
Vermonter's final moments of sweet agony.

I could write an op-ed piece. Something
original along the lines of Gunga Din. Sam would
probably do the right thing, stepping forward to
remind us that the evil men do lives after them but
the good is oft interred with their bones.

So let it be with NM Kingston, whose bones would
necessarily be dispersed though still within reasonable
proximity of one another.

Thanks, Jerzy, my intentions exactly. Anyone who takes this stuff
seriously has a screw loose.

I suggest Liarry starts with 1900-rated but self-proclaimed 2200+ ELO
Sherman Tank NM Sam Sloan for his public execution. His claim to have been
"a master for almost 40 years" is far more blasphemous than TK's statement
so long ago that Liarry misinterpreted and managed to get a ton of mileage
out of. That -- and his many other wildly ludicrous claims -- ought to make
for some good copy.

However, I imagine that the Double-Standard Dynamo, Liarry Parr, our
resident Emperor of Inconsistency, will continue to give 1900-rated but
self-proclaimed 2200+ ELO Atom-Splitter NM Sam Sloan a pass while he picks
nits with those who don't speak the chop-logic dialect of the English
language, which is his native tongue.

Get back to us on that XOR, Larry baby.

Can't walk away from the topic until you've admitted you were wrong.
Make the amende honorable (snicker).

Hey Jimmy boy, why don't you ask your attendant for your medication. I think
you forgot your 6 am pill.
