Default This board is full of conflict of interest

The latest scandal with Shahade and Hoffman is just another example of
countless conflict of interest issues with this board. Goichberg,
President of CCA and USCF. Bad move. Jen Shahade and Hoffman, sister
and great friend of Greg Shahade getting high paid insider positions
with no specific experience. Another bad move!

I urge Schultz and company to resign now if Shahade and Hoffman are
hired without giving anyone else the opportunity to apply for these

Maybe the better question would be why the USCF doesn't have a policy
of posting all positions with job requirements and salary ranges. Your
answer on the specific jobs shows how these individuals were/might be
hired, but doesn't give us any reason to believe that someone
better/cheaper might not have come forward if the jobs were posted

Just as in the awarding of contracts, it seems to me to be better
(especially for a non-profit) to openly announce what it is looking for
and then analyze all the bids. It might well be that you can still get
the best person/contract by only dealing with those who have already
made some connection (in order to know of the job/contract's
existence), but it certainly avoids a perceived conflict of interest
and would appear to be in the USCF's best interest if everybody can
find out about such jobs/contracts.
