Default Calif. players 60% of U.S. Open advance entries

On re-checking the Web site http://usopenchess.org one can find that California
players represent roughly 60% of the advance entries listed on that site for
this years's U.S. Open in Los Angeles. According to Hal Terrie via Jerry
Hanken, not all the advance entries were posted by the USCF office.
Nevertheless, the number of California players was approximately 150 out of a
total of 250 plus/minus. No distinction has been made between players from
Southern California and Northern California. Some players, including Larry
Christiansen of Massachusetts, have no state designation. It is hoped that the
Web site will be updated to include COMPLETE INFORMATION on each player,
including correct state and, in the case of foreigners, country.
