Default Of Moderators and Suspensions

The following was just placed on the USCF Forum Announcements with no
prior notice of "charges" pending or an opportunity to be heard as to
each proposed post alleged to violate the AUG. I will attempt to obtain
the complete texts of all the below cited posts and place them here in
full. Interesting timing.

Do not accuse anyone of lying, telling a lie, or being a liar. This is
considered a personal attack, even if true. Do not speculate regarding
the motives of others. You can get the point across just as well by
saying the person you think is lying is wrong, mistaken, incorrect,
careless with facts, etc.

Accordingly, Brian Lafferty 13592564 is to be suspended from posting to
the USCF Forums for one year as outlined in the AUG:
One year suspension: A poster in a moderation queue who repeatedly
submits posts that violate the AUG may be suspended from posting for one
year.

Brian,

Since some may view a one year suspension as only a temporary matter,
I suspect our USCF leadership continues to believe due process is
where there is some sort of notification of your punishment first but
then you have the ability to appeal the already implemented decision.
Perhaps such substantial temporary bans as well as permanent bans
require proper due process.

Wayne Praeder
