Default Can the USCF go back to the print magazine?

Since even Jennifer Shahade has confirmed that the online magazine
only gets less than 3000 hits with only 1800 that visited the site.
Plus, that only less than 150 people read the cover story of the
October 2009 issue of Chess Life for Kids. Plus, in her words as the
Online Editor of Chess Life, that she has problems with login into the
website.

“People can be impatient online so even for members, logging in with a
password is a serious deterrent. It seems hard to break through and
get a large % of the people who visit the index page to log in cause
it's easy to get frustrated and just move on – Jennifer Shahade.”

Since Jennifer Shahade that has a college degree, since she is
frustrated and feels other people are frustrated themselves with the
need to register, login, recall the password. How can we feel that
elementary students that make the balk of the scholastic players would
have a better understanding of the website and have less of a
frustration compare to Jennifer Shahade that has a college degree and
is the Online Chess Life Editor.

I would like to point out that my main website, before the Sheriff of
Amherst County Virginia shut it down, got 100,000 hits PER DAY.

This means the 42 hits per month that Chess Life 4 Kids gets seems
pale by comparison.

Also, remember that Chess Life 4 kids was supposedly going to be
especially attractive because kids use the Internet more than adults
do.

Another stupid Goichberg idea has been an abject failure.

The reason you had more hits with your website Sam Sloan, as your
website was for adults and did not require anyone to register to read
your website. The online Chess Life for Kids is designed for
elementary students, needing to register with their USCF ID number,
their Pin Number, needing to pick their handle name with a password.
They also need to have a email account to activate their account.

The USCF willfully made it complex to register and read the online
magazine or to access the USCF website. The reason was, so nobody
could hijack some other persons account just to access the online
magazine.

Have in the past had to register scholastic members for a scholastic
tournament, If I only got a dollar every time a scholastic player was
unsure how to spell their own last name I would have made a great deal
of money. Now, the USCF is asking that scholastic players that are
unsure how to spell their last name to recall their USCF ID number,
their Pin Number, their handle, and their password with needing to
recall their email to activate the account.

Sam Sloan, is it not clear that the United States Chess Federation is
out of touch with the youth of America.
