Default Chess Mate magazine 1999 bound volume by Arvind Aaron

Chess Mate magazine 1999 bound volume by Arvind Aaron

India is one of the fastest improving countries in the world in Chess.
In years past, India had no grandmasters only one International
Master, Manuel Aaron, the father of Arvind Aaron.

Nowadays, however, India has many grandmasters and the number seems to
be increasing all the time. This is in large part due to the efforts
of Arvind Aaron, who not only publishes Chess Mate magazine but writes
newspaper collumns which are published throughout India and elsewhere.

Chess Mate magazine is virtually unknown outside of India. This bound
volume contains all 12 issues for the year 1999. It has hundreds of
photographs not published anywhere else and hundreds of games not
published anywhere else. Most of the photos were taken by Arvind Aaron
himself.

The volume I am offering here might actually be the only one outside
of India. I have never seen another one. There are 862 pages.

The hard cover measures 5 1/4 x 8 3/8 inches.
